December 2007 Meeting Minutes(Previous Month Next Month)December 4, 2007 Attendance: Kathy Russenberger, Nancy Vehslage, Julio Pineda, Mary Ellen O’Neill Meeting opened at 7:00 pm -Kathy reported she wasn’t able to reserve Large Meeting Room for January so annual meeting will be February 6, 2008 for the 2007/2008 year. Next year we’ll aim for early January for the 2009 year. -Kathy reported on removal of trees. Called 3 places 2 came out and gave estimates. We went with Ricks Tree Removal. Along with grinding the stumps he removed the mulch piles, put topsoil down, seeded and placed straw down for $950.00. Neighbor was pleased with his work. -The temporary fence is up along the Gemini Tot Lot. Nancy reported on the budget Lawyer’s office sent notices for 2 of the 4 outstanding assessments to start the lien process. They were signed and sent back, not sure why the other 2 weren’t sent at the same time. -Bob Mayo will run off the assessments for 2008. We’ll stuff the envelops and have them ready to be mailed on 1-2-08. -Motion made to increase assessment the 5% to keep up with inflation. New assessments will be $83.00. Motion was seconded. -Budget was proposed for 2008 with some increases in Lawn Maintenance, Legal fees, and taxes. The repair of the tennis courts is noted to need some attention in this year’s budget. Budget passed unanimously. -Mary Ellen suggested in further discussion about the tennis courts about adding basketball hoops so to have 1 tennis court and possible 1 basketball court.
