August 2007 Meeting Minutes(Previous Month Next Month)Meeting Date: August 7, 2007 Meeting Time: 7pm Meeting Place: Small Meeting Room Library Board Attendees: Adrian Das, Kathy Russenberger, Julio Pineda, Randy Vehslage, Neighbors Lois Dolan and Charlene Salony and Deloris Skura attending Mrs. Dolan and Mrs. Salony attended a meeting held locally regarding the mall along with the mall owners and Commissioner Zimmer and Kittleman. Many concerns were raised regarding the deplorable condition of the mall. They felt like it was falling on deaf ears. Black Oak who owns the mall is not in any time soon going to do anything with it. At present they are focus on the new shopping center across from Home Depot which they are getting ready to develop. They also built the Home Depot/Martins complex . Suggestions were a letter writing campaign- Adrian will develop a form letter that people can copy and send if they wish. Would be nice to find someone who would follow the state of the mall and report back to the board. Mrs. Skura came with different designs for an addition to her house one would require a varience from the county. Was suggested when plans were finialize to resubmit. Discussion regarding the outstanding lien tabled at present. County has been contacted about the storm water management, trying to get through to whose domain it actually is. Right now yellow caution tape is up but the older kids break it regularly. Meeting adjoined 8:15 pm (Previous Month Next Month) |
