March 2006 Meeting Minutes

- Yard Sale is planned for the first Saturday in May, which will be May 6^th this year.  Mary Ellen to contact Carroll County Times 2 weeks prior to event.  Bob to update the Carrolltowne website with the information.

 - Maintenance: Kathy reports on three bids for grass cutting. Board discussed bids. One bid was chosen which would save Carrolltowne money on the lawn part of the yearly budget. Kathy to check references and insurane before signing contract. Money saved could go toward a community clean-up effort in the common areas. Board discusses areas that are in need of cleanup. Board members to walk to the common areas to assess what needs to be done. Board to choose a date for community clean up. Estimates will be needed for hauling and chipping tree branches, etc. Mary Ellen to call residents to help with the clean up.  Bob to post on website.

 - Easter Egg Hunt: Kathy and Mary Ellen are planning the Easter Egg Hunt, with the help of a committee.  Easter Egg Hunt is Sat., April 8^th, with rain date for the 9^th. First planning meeting to be at Mary Ellen’s on March 23^rd, at 10 am.
