Meeting began at 7:00pm. There was a sign up sheet for homeowners and there were
20 homes represented. Bob Mayo discussed the accomplishments of 2005, including
the new playground, yard sale, community clean up and social events, as well as the
Easter Egg Hunt and the July Fourth celebration parade. Discussion ensued regarding
upcoming events in 2006, such as more social events, another community clean up, and
painting the sign along Hemlock Drive.
Discussion began regarding the need for the change of board members within the next
few years and that people should see a member of the board for more information.
Joe Jascur was elected as a new member-at-large. Scott Gearhart will be training a him
during this year to take his place as treasurer. We also need an architectural committee,
and some discussion ensued, but no one volunteered to take on that role.
Scott went over the budget for 2005 and then for 2006. He talked about the properties
that have not paid fees and that the lawyer has been notified and is taking action.
A
member from Carrolltowne United, Mrs. Carroll, came
to speak to the Association
about this group that is trying to make changes in
the Kali Drive
development.
