November 2005 Meeting Minutes(Previous Month Next Month)Meeting Date: Tuesday, November 1st Meeting Time: 7:00pm Meeting Place: Eldersburg Library Small Meeting Room Attendees: Bob Mayo, Mary Ellen O'Neill, Scott Gearhart a. Using county property deed website to update addresses b. Mary Ellen to purchase stamps and envelopes c. Mary Ellen to bring Carrolltowne Stamp d. Scott to complete updated budget -Kathy Russenberger and Mary Ellen O'Neill are writing narrative of the year's events. Will email to Bob for an OK, then Kathy to copy and bring to - Stuffing the envelopes? meeting. - Tentative date for stuffing envelopes Nov. 9th Adrian Das home - Liens - Letters about liens on properties that have not paid the 2004 assessments have been mailed through the association's attorney's office. - Scott received 2 of the 9 payments still outstanding - Follow up with lawyer. Want to peruse litigation. - Question for lawyer: Will we get compensation if people pay the money during litigation? - Lawn & Maintenance - Rebids were discussed regarding the lawn service contract, but tabled because of the Association's continued approval of the service that we are receiving with Heather Eader. Bob and Heather did a full walk through of the properties to see where mowing occurs. - The Excess brush behind properties on Andylin and discussed. Board to determine and make list of what needs to be cleared. - Will get bids to do that clean up. - Budget & Accounting - Scott motioned that assessments be raised to 75.00. Motioned accepted. - Scott motioned to write off miscellaneous fees deemed uncollectible - $6.00 or less total. Motion accepted. - All audits for 2003-2004 complete. - Changes to the 2006 budget. Add social activities, change newsletter to website. - Budget went over with board and discussed. Will have the complete budget ready for the assessment and large meeting. - Annual Meeting - Bob to get date from Carrolltowne Elementary, either Dec. 6th or 13th.
